Kranti Redkar debuted with ‘Soon Asavi Ashi’ a Marathi movie which was released in 2000. In the movie, she worked with Ankush Choudhary. Later, she portrayed the role of a kidnapped girl in a Hindi film named ‘Gangajal’ a directorial by Prakash Jha in 2003.

She is known for her superhit popular Marathi song named Kombdi palali, tangdi dharun ….langadi ghalaya laagli opposite Bharat Jadhav in the popular 2006 Marathi film Jatra, with music by Ajay-Atul.

In 2014, her husband tried his luck in the field of direction and directed the movie named ‘Kaakan’ starring Jitendra Joshi and Urmila Kanitkar.
