Kyla Cindy Lapoint stabbing led to death
Kyla Cindy Lapointe was a young woman who had a bright future ahead of her.
She was born in Bathurst, New Brunswick, and graduated from Bathurst High School.
She then moved to Moncton, New Brunswick, where she made her home and pursued her career.
Moreover, Cindy was described by her family and friends as a kind, caring, and loving person who always had a smile on her face.
She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, traveling, and exploring new places. She was also passionate about animals and had a pet cat named Luna.
On July 11, 2023, Kyla Cindy Lapointe’s life was tragically cut short by a senseless act of violence.
According to the New Brunswick RCMP, she was stabbed multiple times on Belleview Avenue in Moncton around 2:45 am after a disturbance call.
She was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries.
The RCMP later arrested three suspects concerning the murder: Dylan Alexander Jackson, 28, Megan Ethel Marten, 38, and Dana Livingston Mundell, 49.
They were charged with second-degree murder and appeared in court on the same day.
The motive for the attack is still unknown, and the investigation is ongoing.
