The video was released on his social media platforms where Franzese pleaded for help. His dead sister was clearly seen in the background lying on the bed. She passed away because of coronavirus.

After the post went viral on the internet, a local politician intervened in the situation and found a burial spot for Teresa at the Aprea Funeral Home. Pasquale Pernice conducted the ceremony and told that Luca and his other relatives were there.
