A non-conference game against Northwestern State presents a winnable start to the season for Tulsa, but after that, the odds are stacked against them. As Tulsa continues to work back from the bottom of the conference, the non-conference schedule isn’t kind to them in 2024.

Trips to Arkansas State and Louisiana Tech appear close, on paper, but a home game against Oklahoma State could throw a wrinkle in the plans of a hot start for Tulsa.

Fortunately, the conference portion of the Tulsa schedule has its moments. After a trip to North Texas, the Golden Hurricane will return for games against Army, UTSA, ECU, and FAU in 2024. The road games on Tulsa’s schedule present some potentially winnable outings, as they’ll travel to Temple, UAB, and USF.

Tulsa will certainly have to shake their preseason perception if they want to make some noise with this schedule ahead of them this fall.
